The Punjab Traffic Police have introduced a major facilitation for motorcycle riders by simplifying the driving license procedure. Under the new system, applicants can now receive both a learner’s permit and a permanent license on the same day.
A spokesperson stated that this initiative aims to make the process more convenient for the public while motivating a greater number of riders to obtain valid licenses without unnecessary delays.
Official data reveals that approximately 2.354 million motorcycle licenses have been issued across Punjab so far this year. Out of these, over 1 million are permanent driving licenses.
